Trucks on the Run!

My guy and I love watching The Great Food Truck Race on the Food Network. On the show there are yummy food truck teams from around the country selling unique food concoctions! This show has upped the popularity of food trucks and I came across a few other mobile trucks with the same concept but twisted in a unique way! Did you know there is a food truck for dogs?  How about a mobile flower truck!? How awesome is that?!

The Flower Truck is located in sunny California and was converted from an old ice cream truck. .... I absolutely love when people come up with unique business ideas and execute them so brilliantly.....again, I am inspired!

With flavors like pumpkin, red velvet, and peanut butter this truck is keepin' it swank for all the pooches!....Oh, and Zac wanted to add something: Teach 'em how to doggie Phydough!!! :)

Caravan Dreams

I surf the high seas of the internet daily and come across some awesome finds. If I ever get my hands on an old caravan, I would love to transform it an idea like one of these! I am inspired by the amazing people behind these renovated trailers and I hope you are too!

The charming Lovelane Caravans are located along the beautiful countryside of the UK. Complete with "of the period" items the caravans are located near a farm, beaches, and a village. Lovelane Caravans already has my heart and I haven't even visited.....but I'm wishing and hoping!!

The Sol Cinema is a non-profit project  and an awesome idea brought to life! Dubbed as the world's smallest SOLAR movie theatre, this little caravan seats 8 adults and is powered solely by the sun!!

Located here in the great state of Texas, Marfa to be exact, is El Cosmico! These restored 1950's and 60's trailers each have their own style and unique furnishings. There is even an outdoor kitchen and hammock grove :)....You know what else?! You can even rent a yurt, teepee, or tent!!....Hurry and pack your bags!

Modern Bohemian

These modern pieces are made by my the most stylin' duo I know.....my sister Casie, and her boyfriend A.J. Casie is a dental hygienist and A.J. is a recent graduate of The Art Institute of Dallas....I personally think they should make a living creating all day, everyday! These pieces are a perfect mix of modern and bohemian...and if you have any requests, I'm positive they can make it. Earrings, bracelets, hair clips, necklaces, arm cuffs....you name it!

Weekend Wedding

The wedding bells were ringing this weekend as J.Ryan and Meagan tied the knot! The wedding reception turned out exactly as I had planned...and I must say that the southern country bash was a hit with everyone!.... I couldn't have pulled it off without the help of my awesome parents, Zac, and his wonderful family.

Each table had a burlap runner and mason jar filled with a sunflower and a variety of wildflowers. Along with each arrangement were a mix of vintage bottles and candles.
The couples' seats were covered in burlap and finished off with hand painted signs for the Mr. and Mrs.

To add softness to the venue we hung fabric panels finished of with bright yellow sunflowers... The railing was accented with clear glass globe lighting to add warmth and a soft glow.
This little set up was for the guests to leave well wishes, and words of wisdom, for the newlyweds. The notes were pinned on the screen door for all to see!
Hanging cluster of lampshades above the BBQ buffet!

Look familiar?!....I replaced the existing art with a personalized piece appropriate for the occasion! Love...The day was full of it! I also had the idea of adding more fabric to cover the shelves of the bar, to add softness and balance.

Love Is in the Air - Pt. 2

I told you to stay tuned!..... Here is another sneak peek into the southern country wedding taking place this Saturday! The bride, Meagan, has her heart set on sunflowers, so I pulled some tricks out of my sleeve and came up with these simple and sweet arrangements. I have taken the Mason jar and filled it with a sunflower and a variety of wildflowers....to complete the look, the jar is wrapped with a band of burlap!

I have also been collecting various old glass containers to add around the sunflower arrangements.... Yep, nothing beats vintage!....
