Latest Work

Lately, I've been up to a whole lot of small projects. Im so thankful for each and every one of them!..Sadly, I forget to take pictures due to time constraints, but I do have a few pictures of some of my latest work!

My husband's good friend recently got married and he came up with this idea, I just executed it! The groom likes to hunt, so I thought a pair of gold antlers would fit. I didn't want it to look rustic so a clean fresh piece of wood with a light stain did the trick...along with a clean simple font.

The following sign was made for a wedding. The wording the bride asked for reminded me of "Lovesong" by The Cure. I sang it the whole time I was working on it!

Hand Lettering

I love being asked to hand letter signs for people! It's one thing I've been practicing since I was so little! It makes me happy when I get compliments on my handwriting too because ever since I was in first grade and I saw my teacher, Mrs. Phillips write on the chalkboard in her perfect print...I knew I wanted mine to look just as perfect! :) Take a look at some of my recent signs! Weekend Wedding

The wedding bells were ringing this weekend as J.Ryan and Meagan tied the knot! The wedding reception turned out exactly as I had planned...and I must say that the southern country bash was a hit with everyone!.... I couldn't have pulled it off without the help of my awesome parents, Zac, and his wonderful family.

Each table had a burlap runner and mason jar filled with a sunflower and a variety of wildflowers. Along with each arrangement were a mix of vintage bottles and candles.
The couples' seats were covered in burlap and finished off with hand painted signs for the Mr. and Mrs.

To add softness to the venue we hung fabric panels finished of with bright yellow sunflowers... The railing was accented with clear glass globe lighting to add warmth and a soft glow.
This little set up was for the guests to leave well wishes, and words of wisdom, for the newlyweds. The notes were pinned on the screen door for all to see!
Hanging cluster of lampshades above the BBQ buffet!

Look familiar?!....I replaced the existing art with a personalized piece appropriate for the occasion! Love...The day was full of it! I also had the idea of adding more fabric to cover the shelves of the bar, to add softness and balance.

Love Is in the Air - Pt. 2

I told you to stay tuned!..... Here is another sneak peek into the southern country wedding taking place this Saturday! The bride, Meagan, has her heart set on sunflowers, so I pulled some tricks out of my sleeve and came up with these simple and sweet arrangements. I have taken the Mason jar and filled it with a sunflower and a variety of wildflowers....to complete the look, the jar is wrapped with a band of burlap!

I have also been collecting various old glass containers to add around the sunflower arrangements.... Yep, nothing beats vintage!....

Love Is in the Air

I  was given the opportunity to come up with the designs for a wedding taking place in August at The Courtyard here in downtown Big Spring! The couple really loves all thing country, so I've got a few tricks up my sleeve to help make their vision a reality! Here is a a little sneak peek of one of the elements to be featured!  I've painted these individual boards with a bold font spelling out "LOVE."

I will post more sneak peaks in the coming days leading up to the wedding, so stay tuned :)
